Troop
The Troop is made up of members aged eleven to fourteen and a half years. The Scouts are divided into patrols (teams) where they work as a small group learning various skills during the troop meetings.
The section's program is divided into several themes called paths. Each patrol chooses one path and works to complete it in a few months. The patrol completes the journey through the path together as one team. The patrols can choose from Backpacker, Camper, Cook, Orienteer, First Aider and Pioneer. Scouts are also urged to complete interest badges on their personal initiative.
The Zurrieq Troop is made up of 34 members and 5 leaders. The Troop Leader is Dale Bugeja with a number of assistants helping him manage the section. The meeting is held every Wednesday between 6-8pm at our Headquarters.
